Brief
Cadence is a music app for people who listen front to back. I redesigned the player and the For You tab.
Challenge
The player was louder than the music
Eleven controls fought the cover art. People missed the queue and never found the lyrics.
Fewer controls, bigger art and a waveform you can scrub.
Live activity, lyrics and queue share one calm visual language.
